Membership Purchase and Payment Terms

Checkout, confirmation, bank transfer, card or PayPal, activation, cancellation and refund rules for category memberships.

Version 20 September 2026 — operational draft pending final legal review.

1. What is purchased

These terms govern purchase of HD Online’s digital company category membership service. They do not govern products or services contracted between platform users, and HD Online is not the seller of those marketplace items.

2. Order steps and contract formation

The company first obtains category eligibility, selects one or more categories, reviews category, period, campaign, price, currency, taxes and payment method, corrects errors, and submits the order. The order is received electronically. A binding membership purchase is formed when HD Online confirms the order or activates a free campaign, subject to payment verification where applicable. A pro forma document is not proof of payment or a final tax invoice.

3. Prices and taxes

Prices are normally displayed in CHF and may be converted for information. The checkout identifies the payable currency and amount. Unless stated otherwise, statutory taxes are handled as shown on the invoice. The company is responsible for providing correct billing and tax data and for any tax or bank costs allocated to it by law or the selected payment method.

4. Payment methods

Bank-transfer orders remain pending until the funds and payment notice are matched and approved. A single receipt may cover several listed orders where the platform permits a bulk notice. Card and PayPal payments are subject to the provider’s authorisation. Test payment details and test cards do not create a real payment obligation or production entitlement. HD Online never asks users to place card numbers in messages or uploaded files.

5. Activation and failed payments

Paid access begins only after successful payment confirmation; a campaign may activate on approval. An unpaid order can expire or be cancelled after the displayed deadline. If a payment is reversed, charged back or found fraudulent, access may be suspended and the related amount remains due to the extent permitted by law.

6. Cancellation and refunds

An unpaid order may be cancelled through the available workflow. After activation, a company may submit a reasoned refund request; submission is not automatic approval. HD Online evaluates service use, campaign terms, payment costs, breach and mandatory rights. Approved refunds are returned through the original or another documented method. Swiss law has no general statutory withdrawal right for all online purchases; any mandatory consumer withdrawal or jurisdiction right that applies in a specific cross-border case remains unaffected. Category memberships are intended primarily for business and professional use.

7. Records and support

Order summaries, confirmations, pro forma documents, receipts, provider references, invoices, refunds and audit events form the transaction record. Errors should be reported promptly to [email protected] with the order number, without sending sensitive payment credentials.

8. Law

The User Agreement’s Swiss-law and jurisdiction provisions apply, subject to mandatory law.
